We held a public meeting last night at the community centre. This was to discuss the possibility of getting a leading barrister's professional legal opinion of legal ways to stop the situation.
We discussed how whilst many other Councils have failed in legal challenges there has now been a success in the high court by Great Yarmouth. Also we know that other local council's have won without going to court as well.
We have found a leading barrister that is able to do this legal opinion and we have now sent the details of the situation to the council and asked them to go and get that legal opinion. That is the only true way we will know if there is a legal angle we can pursue.
